Falling Away with You

i'm honestly getting pissed off with blogger.takes so damn long to load this page.anyway, i'm abit bothered about certain things that have happened.

first things first, i heard that my mom's friend son had been underpaid after collecting his paycheck.number one, i don't regard you as a friend, so don't tell people there that you know me and my dad, so that you can get biased treatment.PLEASE YO, the people in katong can't really be bothered about you, cause you're just a small fry.even though my dad works there, i've never told anyone that my father's a big shot just to get curry favors.even IF someone should get biased treatment, it should be me, so fuck off will you? don't everything come crying to your mama so your mama can bother my mama.

second, no one asked you to go work there.my mum didnt promote it no did i even talk about it.so anything, fuck your butt to parkway, complain to them.my mum's not working there, so you're not gonna get anything out of asking my mum for assistance.i can't beleieve you told laijie that we're very close.let me think, the last time we said hi was 10 years ago, even before i started primary school? why so close? but too bad, your ploy of attempting to gain biased treatment backfired.cos laijie asked ashley about this and ashley asked me.and i passed the word back to laijie so everyone now knows that you're a liar.

on a lighter note, i got wind that zhen wen's in italy now man.god, it brings back memories i tell you.i love italy to bits.it's one of the best places in europe to go.especially those friends i made there! karmi, you're not forgotten, do take care in south africa, if faith would have it, we'll meet in Rome someday.oh, and i just remembered that i promised journals of my trip.i'll do france today.spain, italy, portugal another day.

Day 1: Touchdown in Paris (France)

ahhhh, 13 hours, uber jag lagged.really was.i remembered clearly that we landed at 6am france time, which is 1pm local time here in singapore.i was jubilant as it was my first trip to france.and did you guys know that the mcdonalds there have bacon and egg mcmuffin? i tell you, it's 100 times better that egg and ham muffin here in singapore.after the snack at the airport, we took a cab back to our hotel, which was about half an hour from the airport.you're not going to beleieve this, but the cab fare was 100 sing dollars.yeap, no more, no less.the standard of living there is extremely high, so 100 sing dollars might just mean a lil bit to the cab man.oh, and on the journey, we passed by the awesome stade de france stadium, national stadium of france, where the world cup was held in 1998.another interesting thing was that we drove by the exact tunnel where princess diana was infamously killed in that car accident.the taxi driver was brilliant, he was like our tour guide, even though we couldnt understand his awkward french :/

yup, after putting out stuff in the hotel, my mum and i took a bus to the lourve, which was where the da vinci code was filmed.the famous ORIGINAL mona lisa smile was there, so was venus de milo.i think we then went to some catherdral or something.i tell you, the scenary in france is breathtaking, one of the most beautiful in europe.afterwards, we went back to our hotel at 8pm, slept without dinner, woke up next day 8am.

DONE! day one was as such, really, we had not much energy to do anything cos we're so damn tired and jag lagged.but day two will be posted sometime soon.

yes, muse was in singapore about a week ago.few reasons why i missed it

1)there was no seat allocation, so if you go late, you might as well not go cos you'll be right behind

2)it was a rain or shine event, and it was raining buckets the entire week, so i felt that it was not worth the risk.

3)the guys were indecisive, we couldn't decide if we should go.

anyway, i heard that tix was sold out like hotcakes.7500 tickets, all taken.what a concert, but i don't think that it was as good as the coldplay concert i went, which had 12,000 people :D

nevertheless, muse's a great band, and i've been hearing them since their "absoultion" days.i dig black holes and revelations, but absolution was already in another league.my favourite song? falling away with you.awesome awesome.it starts slow with matt bellamy getting you engrossed, then they change gears and go indie.i like the way they played it, really good.but i heard that at fort canning, the song choices were poor.they were actually playing more songs from black holes and revelations probably to get publicity, and the hit starlight was even an encore, so i guess that it was poor song choices.so go download falling away with you by muse, from the album absolution, my favourite song from muse.

by the way, it was great meeting up my cousins today.ah bao's in army, fran went for swimming, so only les, kylie, ah hui, manita went to pay respects to my maternal grandfather.i do miss my maternal granddfather, he's awesome.i still remember him kissing me on the forehead everytime i visited him as a child.i'll always have you in my heart deares wai kong.
